The City of Santa Fe Springs will be hosting the Red Ribbon Parade on Thursday, October 29, 2026. The parade will began at Lake Center Middle School at 9:00 A.M. and will conclude at Charlesworth and Alburtis Avenue.

- No vehicle documentation is needed for walking entries. The City will not provide transportation for participants.
- Important Transportation Information
  
  The City of Santa Fe Springs will not provide transportation for parade participants, groups, or organizations.
  
  Participants may walk in the parade or arrange to use their own vehicle. Organizations choosing to use a vehicle are responsible for providing their own transportation and must submit a valid driver's license and current proof of vehicle insurance.
  
  All vehicle entries must comply with applicable traffic laws and any additional parade instructions provided by the City.

- PARTICIPANT ACKNOWLEDGMENT, AGREEMENT, AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
  
  By registering for or participating in this City of Santa Fe Springs (“City”) event or activity (“Event”), I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions on behalf of myself and, where applicable, any minor children for whom I am the parent or legal guardian.
  
  1. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
  
  I understand and acknowledge that participation in this Event is entirely voluntary. Neither I nor any accompanying minor under my supervision is required to participate in any activity.
  
  I understand that participation may involve certain inherent risks, including, but not limited to, personal injury, illness, communicable disease, property damage, or death.
  
  I voluntarily choose to participate and, to the extent permitted by law, knowingly accept and assume the risks associated with participation. I understand that I may discontinue participation at any time.
  
  2. COMPLIANCE WITH CITY RULES AND MUNICIPAL CODE
  
  I agree to comply with all applicable City codes and regulations, posted rules, and authorized staff instructions. I acknowledge that any conduct that violates City code or regulation, disrupts the Event, compromises the safety or enjoyment of others, or is inconsistent with the family-friendly nature and intended purpose of the Event may result in my removal from the Event, issuance of a citation, or suspension of facility privileges, as applicable and at the discretion of authorized City personnel. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
  
  Disruptive, threatening, aggressive, or unsafe behavior.
  
  Damage to or misuse of City property.
  
  Unauthorized sales or commercial activities.
  
  Smoking or vaping in prohibited areas.
  
  Consumption of alcohol without required authorization.
  
  Failure to properly supervise or leash pets.
  
  Unauthorized operation, driving, parking, or storage of vehicles on City property.
  
  Failure to comply with lawful instructions from authorized City personnel.
  
  3. WAIVER, RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND AGREEMENT NOT TO SUE
  
  For myself and as the parent or legal guardian of any participating minor children, or as the supervising adult, I forever release, discharge, and agree not to sue the City of Santa Fe Springs, its elected and appointed officials, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and volunteers (“City Parties”) from any and all actions, claims, or demands that I, my assignees, heirs, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives now have, or may have in the future, for injury, death, or property damage, related to (i) my participation in these activities, (ii) the negligence or other acts, whether directly connected to these activities or not, and however caused, by any City Parties, except to the extent such release is prohibited by law, or (iii) the condition of the premises where these activities occur, whether or not I am then participating in the activities. Additionally, in consideration for being permitted to participate in this Event, I agree, to the extent permitted by law, to indemnify and hold harmless the City Parties from claims, demands, actions, or suits arising from my or my minor child’s participation in the Event, subject to the limitations of applicable law.
  
  4. PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RELEASE
  
  I understand that photographs, video recordings, and other media may be captured during this Event for City documentation, communication, publicity, or promotional purposes. Subject to my photography and video consent selection, I authorize the City Parties to use and publish images or recordings in which I or my participating minor children may appear, without compensation, for lawful City purposes. I release the City Parties from claims arising from authorized use of these images or recordings, to the extent permitted by law.
  
  5. ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND AGREEMENT
  
  By submitting this registration, I certify that I am at least 18 years of age, and I acknowledge and agree that I have read and understand the terms outlined above and that I am fully competent to sign this waiver and do so voluntarily.
  
  I understand that this agreement includes a release of certain legal rights, including the right to bring claims for ordinary negligence, to the extent permitted by law.
